Savil Projects was originally engaged by Star Car Wash to assist in the build of one of their new sites in Canberra. After experiencing the professional conduct of our team and the quality of our solution, Star Car Wash went on to engage Savil Projects for three additional builds. These projects were built in live environments within shopping centre complexes, such as Tuggeranong Hyperdome, The Canberra Centre in the City, Manuka Plaza, and the Canberra Outlet Centre. Our team has developed OH&S protocols contingent on working close to the public, without compromising on quality.
Star Car Wash are an Australian professional hand wash & detailing provider. For over 20 years the brand has remained a family owned, private company that operates over 150 locations across the country.
How Savil Projects managed the construction with strong attention to detail, time and budget management.
The project required end-to-end project management and comprehensive construction works tailored to the stakeholder’s requirements for both the National retail client and Shopping Centre management.
The works carried out for the Star Car Wash sites included partial design & full construction, certification and approvals, with the installation and construction of:
- Hydraulic and drainage works including installation of specialised drainage systems
- Electrical works
- Glazed wash bays
- Office spaces
- Powder-coated steel bollards and structural steel
- Commercial aluminium framing
- Pay and storage rooms
- Concrete preparation and concrete slab works
- Fit off to the office, pay room and storage room
Our team also managed all project documentation, scheduling, reporting, waste removal and administrative tasks, and coordinated with each site facility manager to ensure our services provided as little disruption to the public as possible. We were able to deliver the contracted works for all four Star Car Wash sites on time and on budget, resulting in a comprehensive end-to-end solution with maximum client satisfaction.
